The Mississippi State Legislature has enacted a law to allow for an IAFF tag for the members who reside in Mississippi.  We, through the help of IAFF 14th District Vice President Danny Todd, were able to get the MS State Professional Fire Fighters Association to allow Local 1784 members who live in Mississippi to acquire this tag also.

I have attached a letter and application from the Secretary/Treasurer of the MS State Professional FF Association for your review.  The application will need to be filled out and a check for $31.00 (per tag) will need to be brought to OUR office so we can compile all of the applications and write one check to the MS Association so they can forward it to the Mississippi State Tax Commission to get these tags printed.  The Mississippi State Tax Commission requires that 300 tags be pre-ordered prior to printing.
