The Memphis Fire Fighters Association, along with the Memphis Fire Department, will be hosting its second annual Fire Ops 101 event on May 5, 2012, at the Memphis Fire Department's Chester Anderson Training Center.

This event is open for any elected official or media personnel in Shelby County.  Fire Ops 101 is designed to give participants a day of hands-on activities to give insight as to the fire service profession.  Participants dress in full firefighting gear (turnouts) and will participate in four scenarios.  The day is ended with a meal provided at the Training Center.
